During flight cancelations, Air Canada supplies people with a hotel and meal voucher. We were sent to Montreal Best Western Aiport hotel. A very unique hotel, walking into an inside courtyard then appearing into a family-friendly courtyard to the outside. Each courtyard room having access with two keyed doors, one to the inside hallway and one to the outside. An older hotel, however very clean having amenities such as a pool in the inside courtyard and a splash park located in the outside courtyard (therefore would be unavailable during winter seasons. The hotel does have a restaurant but was closed due to COVID-19.
Few things to note:
-Our neighbors were loud, may or may not be a common occurrence
- There was a hole in the ceiling in the hallway (unsure why)
- Staff spoke English and french
- Local take-out menus are available and can be delivered to your room (including adult beverages!) *some menus only in French*
-One garbage can in the room
- Very friendly and understanding staff, especially during a flight cancelation
The hallway to our room. You can see on the top of the picture a hole in the ceiling fixed with plastic, unknown reason.
The hallways were a bit of a maze BUT well signed along the way.
