Camping in Logan Lake BC Canada is an oppotunity to experience our Logan Lake and wilderness adventures and activities in the natural beauty of the Highland Valley. Throughout our region there are opportunities to camp and/or RV in a municipal, and provicnial campgrounds, as well as, wilderness recreation campsites.
Camping in the Highland Valley can be year round when properly prepared for the changing weather conditions. Summer camping is popular during the months of May to September. It is advisable to book ahead of time. Winter camping is enjoyed only when you are properly winterized for the weather.
There is a municipal campground in the heart of the Village of Logan Lake on Maggs Lake. The campground provides a selection of tenting, camper and RV campsites. The amenities offered at this campground includes power, sewer, water, showers, laundry room, sani station and more.
Just located north of the Village of Logan Lake BC is a provincial park located on the shores of Tunkwa Lake.
Being that Logan Lake is surrounded by back country trails and gravel roads, it is easy to see why it has wilderness recreation campsites in the region. The sites are bare-bone camping with little to no services except a picnic table, fire pit and outhouse near by. Some are listed in Parks, Trails and Lakes.
